DESCRIPTION: APW - Elgin, B.W. Raymond with winding indicator, first run Grade 506, 21J, 16S, rose gold-filled OF B.W. Raymond Model recase with rigid bow, white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#33815000. This example is from the first production run of Grade 506, and is in fact the last serial number made from this initial run which was relatively small being of only 100 watches.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, good winding indicator function, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, oxide to larger winding wheel's screw, few very small bits of oxide elsewhere to winding wheels and regulator spring; dial with small chip to upper rim of indicator-register hole; fine hands, hour and minute with finish loss in areas; case shows little wear, some fine scratches to rear, curved rub mark within rear, some mild small nicks to band, no dents or dings, excellent engraving detail; rigid bow with thin slivers of wear to brass, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
